Our Story

Our Mission

Hope Harbour Youth is a registered, youth-led, not-for-profit organization based in Canada. We support youth in need by providing opportunities and resources to help them grow, thrive, and believe in their future.

We run workshops, offer homework and learning support, and spark creativity and hope through arts and crafts. We aim to create a safe harbour for youth who feel lost — a place where they can find comfort, encouragement, and the tools they need to build brighter futures.

At Hope Harbour Youth, we use a youth-to-youth approach that makes volunteering and making an impact not only meaningful but also fun and accessible. We believe that even the smallest, everyday actions can create lasting change, and that recognizing our own privileges allows us to use them to uplift others. By showing how simple acts of kindness — a donated lunch, a care package, or a thoughtful gesture — can transform someone’s day, we hope to inspire more youth to step up and support each other.

Maya Angelou once said, “I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.”

Volunteering with Hope Harbour provides youth with unique opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with others. Every person is appreciated for the impact they make!
